Alanna gave a sigh, she wished that she could be more like Shadow but her father already had planned her future for her.

Alanna took off back to the house, really she didn't fill like going to train for mannerism tonight. She thought about it as she walked down the street, she didn't like that ass of a prince. Not looking where she was going, she bumped into someone falling back, hat releasing her blonde hair.

Conrad was sitting on his horse as he looked around, he usually didn't do this but since the prince decided to come to town he would have to watch the streets for any enemy's. He stopped his horse as he saw a familiar face.

Kanji looked down at her in shock "umm hello Alanna" he said helping her up smiling slightly at her

Shadow ran faster her face still covered her loot over her shoulder in a bag

Alanna took his hand standing up and flushed lightly before shaking it off. "Umm..hello" she said and gave a quick bow to him.

Conrad hurried over and tapped her on the shoulder, "hello again miss" he said with a charming smile.

Kanji looked at her "so what are you doing here?" he asked looking at her

Shadow jumped slightly then smiled back hiding the stuff "umm hi" she said smiling back at him cutely

"Umm well...I was heading home" she said flushing lightly unsure. "What brings you here?" she asked.

Conrad smiled, "and how are you today missy?" he asked getting off his horse.

Kanji looked at her then shrugged "going for a walk i was bored" he said

"I am fine how are you" she said smiling at him slgihtly nervous but not showing it

Conrad nodded, "that's good, I'm fine" he said. He looked around before at her, "there's a festival today wanna go with me?"

"no it gets old fast" he said sighing looking around "hey soon I'm forced to go to a fesival and its requide I have a partner would you like to go with me?" he asked looking at her

Shadow blushed slgihtly and nodded "I'd love to" she said looking at him

Alanna flushed lightly before looking around then back at him and gave a soft nod. "Umm...I would love to" she said giving a another bow.

"Great how about I meet you at the soup kitchen at 6?" he asked since the festival wasn't till tonight.

Alanna watched him walk away then headed home to go and change into something. She didn't like him she had to remind herself that.

Conrad gave a charming smile as he took her hand and kissed it before mounting the horse and headed back.

Shadow sighed in relief and walked home hiding her loot then changing into something nice and fixed her hair a blush on her face "if I'm close to him he won't suspect me I hope" she said sighing

*That Evening*

Alanna walked to the castle and looked nervous as she knocked on the door. What was she doing here!? She and Shadow should have been going, not her and the prince.

Conrad waited at the kitchen as he looked around, before his horse nudged him and huffed.

the prince opened the door smiling at her "you ready" he asked a carage waiting for them

Shadow tapped on his shoulder hoping she looked good enough for his approvel

Alanna looked at him and then gave smile, "yes I am ready" she said wearing a summer like dress since it was a fair.

Conrad turned looking at her and smiled, "hey" he said with a smile as he watched her.

Alanna smiled softly flushing a bit, "umm thank you...you look great as well" she said taking his arm gently.

"Ready?" he asked as he mounted his horse and held a hand out to her to help her up.

Kanji walked with her to the carage then opened the door waiting for her to get in well smiling at her

Shadow grabbed his hand getting on then wrapped her arms around his waist holding onto him somewhat tightly

Alanna got in and looked around on the inside, it was beautiful. She looked at Kanji and smiled softly back.

Conrad smiled before kicking his horse into a light walk, "you look really great" he said over his shoulder to her.

Alanna looked at him flushing a bit more, she didn't know what to say. Usually the prince was an asshole, they never got along.

Conrad trotted up to the festival and got off before lifting a hand to help Shadow down from the stallion.
